I live in a designated bird sanctuary with retention ponds. I have the opportunity to observe many bird species at the same time. They often have conflicts with people in the neighborhood. People have hit the Sandhill Cranes and geese with cars causing their death. The Egyptian Geese are considered invasive and are sometimes killed by neighbors. I embrace and respect all of the wildlife.
Florida Sandhill cranes are generally peaceful birds and tend to get along well with other bird species, including ducks geese. While they may compete for resources like food and nesting sites, they typically coexist without significant conflict. However, like any wildlife, individual personalities and circumstances can vary, so occasional territorial disputes may occur. Overall, though, they usually share habitats peacefully. I have witnessed this on many occasions but sometimes the ducks will fight over food.
